He was preceded in death by his parents Freddy Blair, Sr. and Delia Blair. He was a loving father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, friend, and soon-to-be grandfather. He is survived by his girlfriend of nine years, Lori Rhodes; his two siblings, Karen Hines (Jim) and Freddy Blair, Jr. (Linda); as well as his six children, Adam Blair, Hailey Pearson, Alec “Seth” Blair, Alayna Blair, Alyssa Williams, and Zack Williams. Mr. Blair was born May 3, 1960 in Lynwood, California, grew up in Southern California, and moved to Memphis in 1979. He was known for spending time with his family and his hard work ethic throughout his forty-year plumbing career. He enjoyed a good laugh, loved golf, crossword puzzles, and Scrabble games. He liked country music, classic rock, and modern rock, had a youthful spirit, liked to relive stories from his past, and appreciated life’s simple moments.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. A memorial service celebrating his life will immediately follow at 10:30 AM, at the funeral home.
