Alma Peterson, 93, formerly of Memphis died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A Memorial Service will be held at St Louis Catholic Church Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Mrs. Peterson was an avid bowler and loved to travel. She worked in Washington D.C. during WWII where she met her husband, Roy C. Peterson, Sr. They lived in Cincinnati, Memphis, and retiring in St. Augustine. While in Memphis, Mrs. Peterson worked and retired from the Memphis Shelby County Health Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son, Roy C. Peterson Jr. She is survived by her son Clint J. Peterson of St Augustine, FL; her sister, Janet Delaney of Memphis; and a multiple nieces and nephews.
