She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on October 15, 1934, to the late Dominic and Gilda Garzoli. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dominic Joseph Garzoli.
Amy is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years, George Moore; her children, Randal Moore, Laurie Viglietti, Scott Moore (Sandy), and Leslie Crais (Stuart); grandchildren, Rico Viglietti (Mandy), Cortney Collier (Andy), Brittney Jasper (Daniel), Brooke Moore, Riley Sitton (RJ), Noah Brahm (Kaitlyn Williams), and Morgan Brahm (Will Watkins); and nine beloved great-grandchildren.
Amy’s faith and compassion guided every part of her life. She served as President of St. Vincent de Paul, was an active RCIA member at St. Ann Catholic Church, and participated in the Catholic Cursillo community. She also volunteered with Prison Ministries and Room at the Inn and was a dedicated member of the Legion of Mary. Amy was also proud to have served as the second president of ESP, where she built lifelong friendships and inspired others through her leadership and kindness.
Family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Monday, November 3 at St. Ann Catholic Church 6529 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN. A catholic mass will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN.
Amy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love of family, and the countless ways she gave of herself to others.
