

Andrew D. Glankler, 62, died peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, April 28, 2015. He was born in Memphis on February 7, 1953. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:00 Friday, May 1 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of life at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Saturday May 2 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A loving father and adoring grandfather, he was a proud graduate of Christian Brothers High School and the University of Tennessee and communicant of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his son, Rick Glankler, of New York City and daughter Kelly Bevelhimer, her husband Jay and grandsons Drew and Alec of Indianapolis, Indiana as well as his sisters and brothers- in- law, Karen Glankler, Louisville KY, Gigi and Palmer Rolfes, Macon, GA, Maggie Rains and Jack Perry, Memphis and Mindy and Harley Lemons, Denver Colorado. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Sue Glankler of Memphis, brother, Frank Glankler Jr. of Portland, Oregon and sister Molly Surratt of Memphis. Andy served as the Vice President and CIO of Holy Cross Shared Service’s in Notre Dame, Indiana and most recently was a system administrator for HealthSmart of Memphis.
