Ann Marie King, 87, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away on October 7, 2026. Born on March 23, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, Ann Marie lived a life marked by steady devotion, quiet strength, and a kind-hearted spirit that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ann was raised in Memphis, TN and attended St. Theresa the Little Flower grade school. From her earliest years, she carried herself with an honest and faithful presence—grounded in what mattered most and guided by a sincere care for others.
As a military wife, Ann dedicated herself to her home and family, staying home to raise her five children with unwavering love and commitment. Later, after her children were in school, she began a career at First Federal Savings Bank. Through diligence and integrity, she worked her way up to Banking Supervisor before retiring, earning the respect of colleagues and the gratitude of those who relied on her steady judgment.
On December 31, 1960, she married her husband, Bill. Their 63 years of marriage were a testament to enduring devotion. Bill preceded her in death, and Ann carried his memory with the same steadfast love that shaped her life.
Ann is survived by her sons, William A King, III (Donna), Mark Andrew King, Patrick Joseph King (Amy), Gerald Robert King (Angela); daughter, Theresa King Miron; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and one step great grandson.
A devoted member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ann's faith was not only professed but lived—reflected in her consistent presence, her service, and her care for her community. She also volunteered during elections at the polling stations, offering her time with the same dependable spirit that defined so much of her life.
In quieter moments, Ann found joy in quilting, crafts, and reading—pursuits that suited her patient hands and thoughtful heart. Her warmth, her honesty, and the love she gave so freely remain a lasting gift to her family and friends.
