

Annabelle Gwartney Wiggs, 87 passed away peacefully on November 24th in Southaven Mississippi. She resided in Southaven for 11 years after living the majority of her life in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Wiggs was a retired sales associate for Host International and she was a long time member of the Old Pendleton Presbyterian Church where she taught Childrens Sunday School for many years. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert Wiggs, her brother Buckner Gwartney and her mother Ms. Flora Eberle. Annabelle leaves two daughters Debra W Street and her husband Jimmy Street of Southaven, Mississippi, Judy Ann Schlief of Fountain Hills, Arizona, three granddaughters, Lisa Street of Memphis, Jill Horner and her husband Billy Horner of Collierville, Kristy Gipson and her husband Dr Stephen Gipson of Memphis, and five great-granddaughters Macee, Abbey, Katie, Ashle and Julie Horner of Collierville. She also leaves two faithful dear friends Neil and Martha Price of Millington, Tennessee and her devoted caregiver Susie Knott of Southaven, Mississippi. Family and friends will gather for visitation at Memphis Funeral Home 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis TN 38119 on Friday November 27th from 12 Noon until 2 p.m with service beginning at 2pm at the funeral home and the. Interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wiggs family would also like to thank the loving staff at Senior Care in Southaven, Mississippi for taking such wonderful care of her until her passing.
