Annie Velvateen Elliot, 89 passed away October 19, 2014. Velvateen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Travis Elliott, Sr. and her son Travis Elliott, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Wallace of Bartlett, TN and Bennie Dorris of Somerville, TN. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom she love and who loved her dearly. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 1 pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue, the family will received friends prior beginning at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
