Arlen (Buddy) Box, Sr., 93, passed Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran and devoted father to Arlen (Bud) Box, Jr. After retiring from Allen Iron Works he became self employed and a landlord.
He enjoyed fishing each spring in Coffeeville MS at Grenada Lake.
He leaves his son Arlen (Bud) Box Jr. and his niece Gail Turner Bankston. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Juanita Box Turner and nephew Martin Turner Sr. He leaves many loving friends and a host of family members.
A visitation for Arlen will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 21, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Family Funeral Care.
