Arthur Lee Bryson, Jr., 93, of Atoka, TN, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Memphis. He was born to Arthur Lee Bryson, Sr. and Harriet Rebecca Edwards on August 5, 1921. Mr. Bryson was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Edna, Tiny, Joe, Sammie, and Billy Jack and is survived by one sister, Toodles (Frances Laverne Kail.) A World War II Army Veteran, Mr. Bryson married Katie Ruth Montgomery in 1942. There were married for 56 years before Katie died in 1998. Arthur remarried Josephine Jones in 2001. Josephine still resides in St. Matthews, SC but is not able to travel, and mourns the death of her husband. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5-7pm and funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 31, 2015, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis. Interment will follow in Saulsbury Cemetery.
