You were the softest warmest  beautiful lady and so kind to me a lone

I learned today of Barbara's passing. She was my boss at The Medical Group 17 years ago and was such a beautiful person inside and out. I can remember her being more like a Mother figure to me than a "boss". I laugh when I think of the times she would walk down to Zinnie's East to get Diane and I when we were late coming back from lunch! :) Ms. Barbara you will be missed. I know your family is so sad to see you go. You were such a sweet, sweet lady and you will be missed! God Bless!

Barbara, you are now an angel, with no more pain. You will be missed on earth, but your new life has just began. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Barbara was the epitome of Southern hospitality & warmth and the world will be a poorer place for her not being physically in it any more. But there's a new bright star in the sky now and every time I look heavenwards I will remember the times we all spent together darlin' and hear your giggling voice and see your sweet smile. I'm so pleased my wife Lynn got to meet you when we were in town in September, after hearing so much about you from 'the boys' all these years, because she immediately loved you as much as we all do. Rest easy and free of pain now chuck, and be assured that whenever we come over, we'll call by to fill you in on our news and remember the love and friendship you showed us. You are truly special xx

I was fortunate to get to know Barbara later in her life.  What a delightful lady.  She will be greatly missed!

A sweet kind lady who carried herself with tremendous class.

THe sweetest, kindest lady; never an ill word about anyone. Such a fun person. You will be missed so badly. All my prayers to the family with love.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayer's to the Bauer family. I found out through a great Elvis fan, Sandi Pichon, about her passing. Barbara is at a wonderful place, singing with Elvis.

My Dear Sweet Friend Barbara 
Where do I begin to try to express my sadness and heartache I feel right now ..You will forever be my beautiful friend and that our friendship meant so much to me. 
My life was blessed knowing you, your kindness love and laughter. 
I came to know you through my own darkest hours when I was so unwell with cancer, you gave me hope strength love and friendship I will forever cherish. 
We became such good friends and our emails changed into phone calls, I loved them all so much and that our friendship turned from months into wonderful years.
We had such plans for fun in Memphis.. I'm just heartbroken that I was unable to come and stay with you when you kindly asked me a few months ago, but I too was too unwell to travel you were so keen for us to meet for the first time.. we had so many plans for my first trip to Memphis with Jocathy you would laugh when I used to say we were going to be like The Three Musketeers ..
We were going to put our dancing shoes on and paint Memphis town red..

I know I have to close now but how do I begin to say goodbye ..its something, I sadly, cant find the strength to say..
So for now my dearest friend I will say sleep well be at peace you are with God now may your angle wings shine bright. 
I will remember you with love always !
I know Elvis is with you..he will TCB for me and I will take comfort when I listen to his music and remember the friend we both loved so very dearly.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
