Barbara "Bye" Faye Cook, age 84, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Barbara was born in Memphis, TN on December 2, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son.
Barbara, better known as 'Bye' was an avid reader, a wonderful mother to four children, a Christian, Real Estate Agent, Beautician, Probation officer and a graduate of Central High School. She was a loyal contributor to several charities like St. Jude, Shriners and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital just to name a few.
She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Rodriguez, Shanna Moore, and Deborah Higginbottom; seven grandchildren, Robert, Stan, Sam, Josh, Ricky, Emily and Leland; nine great grandchildren, many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends with a catered reception provided from 1:00 p.m until 2:00 p.m with services to follow on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. The interment will be held at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
