Ben “Benjy” DeGuzman, Jr., 58, of Bartlett, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014. He was an Air Force Veteran and a sales representative for Lehigh Safety Shoes. Benjy loved music and was a self taught accomplished guitar player. He also loved camping, boating, going to the beach, and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. He was a kind and loyal person who never met a stranger. Benjy was preceded in death by his mother Lila DeGuzman. He leaves his loving wife and soul mate of 23 years Randol, his daughter Janelle DeGuzman, his son Brian DeGuzman, his father Ben DeGuzman Sr., his sister Vicki Dauernheim, five grandchildren Cheyenne, Dakota, Meli, Alex, and Guy, and a host of loving family and friends that will miss him. The family will receive friends beginning at 5pm, on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, followed by a memorial service at 6pm, at Family Funeral Care.
