Bunny grew up in Savannah, TN and graduated from Central High School in 1958. On a blind date she met the love of her life and on February 19, 1960 they married. They resided in Memphis and after working for many years at Dixie Litho, she and two others opened their own business, Litho Color Services in 1970 where she held an executive seat until her retirement in 2002. Bunny lived her life loving and caring for her family. Being the oldest girl of nine siblings, she had responsibility early in life and she instilled strength, independence, kindness and hard work in her children. She never met a stranger and had the most generous and thoughtful spirit. Everyone, from all her kid’s and grandkid’s friends to her most recent helpers, nurses, and physical therapists, loved her. She loved her girls fiercely, but her greatest joy was her 5 grandchildren and their love for her.
The celebration of Bunny’s life will be held at Hope Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, TN in the South Hall (entrance 1 or 2) on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Public visitation will be at 11:00 am, followed by the service at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi at 3:30pm. If you feel led, you may donate to the animal rescue or shelter of your choice in her honor. Bunny loved her precious rescue dogs, Lola and Zoey and grand-dogs, CeCe and Freeman. They provided great love, comfort and companionship for her. Memphis Funeral Home has charge of all of Bunny’s arrangements.
