Hollis, I am praying for you. Ms. Bessie is home with God now. She doesn't have to deal with anymore sickness or pain. I wish I could be at the funeral tomorrow, but can't get off work. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Miss Bessie is married to my dear friend Hollis Scott. My wife and I were blessed to have visted with them several times. What I will always remember about her is her bravery in facing situations and her love for Hollis and her family. She did not hestitate to ask about the Bible and what I believed. I saw that as her way of finding out who I was and what I believed. She was always kind to me and my wife. We will miss her. Wayne and Maxine Owens

Bessie was our next door neighbor and we loved her. I will miss talking with her and mornings on her porch having coffee. We know she is with God

Bessie was a quiet lady but had a sweet spirit. She sat by me in Sunday School many years ago at Cordova Baptist and I grew to love her. She will be missed by many friends and her family. Eleanor Liming
