Bessie Jane Tracy

Bessie Jane Tracy, 79, was born January 1, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut. Jane passed away September 10, 2017. She lived in Frayser/Memphis most of her life. She graduated from Frayser High School in 1956. Jane retired as a professional secretary at The Med in Memphis where she spent most of her working career. Jane loved her family and the Lord. She was a loving, caring, compassionate sister who would do anything she could to help family and friends. She was also free to give advice on anything she knew. She leaves a brother Walter B. Tracy (JoAnne) of Corona, California; nephews, Jonas (Lara) and Mark; niece, Angie Payne (Lee) of Atoka, TN; great nephews, Caleb and Jake; great nieces, Emma and Katelyn; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Malcom J. Tracy, mother, Bessie Mae Reynolds; brothers, Joseph R. Tracy and Malcolm Tracy.

Family will receive friends Friday, September 22nd at Family Funeral Care at 4925 Summer Ave from 5-7pm and funeral service Saturday, September 23rd at Family Funeral Care at 10am. The burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
