Passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016. Betty worked for many years as a crossing guard for Kingsbury Elementary School and she retired from the Memphis Area Teacher Credit Union as a Marketing Director. Betty was a member at Wesley Memorial Evangelical Church. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Goldman, her brothers Charles and Don Matthews, her sisters, Dorothy Privette, Frances Hopper, Evelyn Rutland, and Margaret Burleigh. She is survived by her daughters, Shay Curtin (Jack) and Susan Potter (Bill), her son Pat Goldman (Marie), her sister, Marceline Jacocks, her brother Clarence Matthews, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16 at Memphis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a service Thursday at 10 a.m.
