Betty L. Conner

Betty Faye Northam Laird Conner, 69, of Memphis, passed away on February 13, 2016. The family will gather to receive friends on Wednesday, February 17, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Germantown Road. Betty was a graduate of Southside High School class of 1965, and she retired from Pepperite Printing Company after working for 20 years as a printing inspector. She was affiliated with the Assemblies of God, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Order of Amarath, and Daughters of the Nile. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Earl Laird; and her second husband, Oliver Louis Conner, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Hellman (Christopher) and Nancy Sparks (Greg); and six grandchildren, Timothy Hellman, Joseph Hellman, Shannon Sparks, Gregory Sparks, Jr., James Sparks, and Gabriella-Elizabeth Hellman.
