Massey, and Cornelia Massey Bland.
Continuing to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband, Daniel Gladden, one sister, Edna Eldridge of Chicago, one brother William (Jean) Massey of Memphis, good neighbor Winnie Massey, and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
She grew up in a loving Chrisan home where hard work and dedication were exemplified. Those qualities became and remained a part of her character throughout her entire life.
She was a graduate of Hamilton High School, aended Lemoyne Owen College and later joined the United States Air Force. In late 1972 she and Daniel were united in matrimony.
As they began their journey together it was obvious she was living a beautiful life. Her gifts and talents were evident in how she made their house a home. She enjoyed several hobbies including sewing and baking.
We all have her to thank for being the official family photographer and videographer, capturing moments from generations before to cherish now and in generations to come.
In addition to her amazing eye for detail, she had an equally amazing memory so we considered her part 2 of our official family historian team. (Uncle Dan, part 1)
She always found a way to be helpful to our family as well as her friends and neighbors. More than anything, she possessed a unique quality which was caring that everyone was okay.
