Memphis, Tennessee. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in
taking care of his family. For many years, he worked as Vice President of W.C. Douglas
Insurance Agency. He was also a softball coach and an avid golfer.
He is preceded in death by his mother Katherine, father William, and brothers James and David.
He is survived by Catherine his wife of 68 years, their children Anne, Laura, and Bobby,
granddaughter Michaela, brother Richard Joe, and half-sisters Kay and Linda.
He was a friendly and personable man who selflessly put the needs of his loved ones above his
own. We are all so lucky to have had a man like him in our lives, and he will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
