Bonnie Faye Qualls Poindexter, 80, of Collierville, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013. She was retired from Poindexter Electronics after 36 years. Bonnie was a faithful member of Memphis chapter 62 Order of the Eastern Star for 58 years where she served as Worthy Matron, Worthy Grand Matron, State Secretary, & Right Worthy Grand Secretary. She was also a 2 time recipient of the Arthritis Foundation Presidential Award. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Carrie Qualls and a sister Betty Mills. She leaves her husband Tommy Gene Poindexter, her daughter Angela Poindexter Gilland (Wayne), one granddaughter Candy Gilland Stirling (Taylor) great grandchildren Sydney, Landon, and Madi Stirling,. The family will receive friends from 4-5pm, on Thursday, November 21, 2013, with funeral services to follow all at Family Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
