Born on April 15, 1955, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, Carla was the beloved daughter of the late Carl and Freda Partain.
Carla is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Mike Haley; her daughter, Lindsay Good, and her husband, Jason; her cherished grandchildren, Henley and Preston Good; and her sister, Shelley Verburg, and her husband, Dan.
Carla was a woman of deep and unwavering faith. During her final days, after being in and out of consciousness for six days, she awoke on the last day and shared that the Lord was in the room with her, a moment that brought comfort and peace to those who loved her.
She dedicated eight years of her career as a registered nurse at St. Jude, where she cared for others with compassion and kindness. Her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and love for her family will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 8 at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm with interment at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN.
