Carlton DeWitt Dodson, Jr., 28, of Memphis, passed away on August 21, 2014. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 22, and funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Born in Memphis on October 12, 1985, Carlton graduated from Frayser High School in 2004, where he was the Valedictorian. He attended Christian Brothers University in Memphis, and he has worked for Best Buy since 2006. Carlton was dedicated to his family and work, and he was most passionate about dance. He is survived by his mother, Audrey Martin Dodson; his father, Carlton DeWitt Dodson; his brother, Clifford Dodson; his grandmother, Evelyn Dodson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
