CATHERINE QUINN WALKER, age 90, of Hoover, AL, passed away May 5, 2013. She was a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. Her parents, Frances and General Quinn, preceded her in death. She was the widow of Thomas Harry Walker. She lived in Memphis, TN for 53 years and was a member of Central Church. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn W. Ivie of Hoover, and two grandaughters, Teresa Gorman (David) of Houston, TX, and Dr. Susan Ivie of Nashville, TN. Services will be in Memphis, TN, May 8 at 11 a.m., with visitation at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
