Janice, I had no idea that Charles was ill when I came to your Dad's visitation earlier this year.

Charlie was a faithful mentor & friend to Mike when he began his civilian practise of Anesthesia.  He remembers fondly studying for Boards together, & working very hard together in their demanding practise.  And I remember many joyous times spent together as families.  May you all feel God's loving arms around you & under you, holding you up with comfort & peace in your time of grief; even as you rejoice in knowing you will be together again in Heaven, for all eternity. Charles Akins was a good man. There aren't many who you can say that about. I valued his patronage and also his incredible help during my mothers illness. He was there when you needed him most.  I am sorry he is gone it is a great loss. Beth and I will have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Charlie you will be missed by all. You were such a good husband, father and friend. A true man of character. Janice and Amanda I know you are going to miss him terribly.
