Charles dated my mother for nearly 20 years. I spent a fair amount of time with Charles. I went with him and my mother on trips - china and bangkok - and had a great time. I would always seem him over the holidays when I'd come to visit. Charles was a lot of fun, and was always fun to talk to. His thinking was "outside of the box" which always led to good entertainment.
I'll miss Charles.

Adding my condolences to the family. I certainly enjoyed my time with Charles. He hosted a party for the Kiwanis club one year at his home. He was truly a renaissance man and will be missed by all of us.

Charles was my best friend the two years I spent at East Hich School in Memphis., and we remained close friends for the rest of his life, His mother was a Buick, and he inherited a significant amount of money, which he invested and added to with his realestate and other work, eventually invested in a n educational charity to help others less advantaged than he. He held numerous parties for his friends and others, partly to raise funds for his educational charity. I here purport to speak for all his East High classmates who respected Charles as much as I.

To Price Boone:
Condolences to you and your family. It has been a long time since i have spoken with you. I enjoyed being your father's neighbor for over thirty years. Unfortunately I will be in Birmingham and unable to attend the grave site services on Wednesday. i had a lot of good memories over the years especially the building of the huge lake on the back of his property. There was the bad memory of his house burning down but there was a funny moment when i saw Charles holding the water hose and spraying water on the house at the same time the firemen were spraying huge amount of water on the other end of the burning house. If there is anything i can do to help you please contact me. Randy Nicholson (901-674-2081)

Charles Boone had a kind heart, and a great sense of humor. His friendship began with my parents in high school, and continued to include me as a friend as well from Hope Church, politics, and various clubs and organizations. I truly appreciated his support and kind words over the years. He hosted parties for my political campaigns at his home, and even dressed in an Uncle Sam suit on one occasion. He even posted once on my Facebook timeline that he hoped all of my dreams would come true! It meant so much to me, and I still think of it often. He was truly one of a kind! My condolences to his family, and may he rest in peace!
