Charles Fray, 87, went to be with His Lord October 7, 2018. A veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1949-1954, he graduated from Christian Brothers University. In 1957 he married Mary L. Humes from Sikeston, Missouri; he always said it was love at first sight. His first job was with NASA in Huntsville, Alabama for 11 years. Later he worked for Rexham Corporation, retiring in 1992 as plant engineer. He enjoyed Alabama football, and woodworking; making most of the furniture in his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Alice Fray; brother Earl and son-in-law Rusty Kisner.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of 62 years; daughter, Laura Kisner; son, Keith (Tara) Fray; sister, Marie (Ron) Pearson, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 10-11 A.M., with funeral services conducted at 11 A.M., all at Kirby Woods Baptist Church, 6325 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee.
