

He graduated from Wrens High School in 1963.
He moved to Bolivar, TN in 1968 and was employed by Hardeman Garment. Then he moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1974 and was employed by an automated systems company in research and development, operating out of Chicago, IL. He moved back to Bolivar, TN 1984 employed at this time by Kings Auto Service for a while then was the service manager for Gays Auto Service until 1995.
He was a Master Mechanic, owned and operated Pro Car Care, LLC beginning in 1995 almost 28 years.
He had two daughters, Sharon White (Sean) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Susan Bishop (Tony) of Olive Branch, MS.
He had two granddaughters, Zoe Bishop of Memphis, TN and Alizah Bishop of Memphis, TN. One grandson Emmett White of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Survived by four sisters, Faye Johnson of Lakeview, MI, Elene Davidson of Harlem, GA, Laura Daniel of Louisville, GA and Karen Ford of Martinez, GA. One brother Jimmy Perdue of Augusta, GA.
He really enjoyed making things and working with his hands. He enjoyed his work as a mechanic and also helping people with his many skills.
He was cared for in his final days by his daughter Susan. He passed away on October 27, 2022 in his home surrounded by those that loved and cared for him.
