Charles Richard Rasbach, age 74, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born November 1, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee to Theodore Hunter Rasbach, Jr. and Geneva Mae Dawson Rasbach. He graduated from Kingsbury High School and grew up in and worked at the family's donut shop, The Donut Man. An avid sports fanatic, he religiously followed the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Braves. Charles and his wife Paula enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and the casinos.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Paula and two sisters, Jerry Rogers and Pamela Valentine. He is survived by his children, Mark Rasbach (Cheryl) and Michelle Yates; grandchildren, Ashley Griffin and Justin Nelson; and a great-granddaughter, Audrie Johnson; along with his brothers, Ted Rasbach (Merrilyn) and Don Rasbach (Angie).
Family will gather on Monday, April 8 at 10:00 AM to visit and share memories followed by friends at 10:30 AM. A funeral service will occur at 11:00 AM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Graveside will immediately follow at South Woods Memorial Park. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
