I remember when you lived down the street from my parents and we went over and you were playing cards with my dad. Then going to see you at your beautiful place at the lake. You had a wonderful life and so many memories as shown in the pictures on this site.

I last saw Charlie about 6 weeks ago. My greatest regret is that I waited so late in our lives to renew our friendship. We had not seen one another for many years but he always my friend. I'll miss him greatly.

Charlie, You were stern yet fair. Im glad that I had you in my life. Some times you did/said things that appeared to be(unorthodox) but I learned to filter the colorful words and obtained the message that you were teaching me. After 24 years in the Navy and then following in your footsteps and working as a cop myself I thank you for all the life lessons learned. Rest in Peace Most the most important thing is Im happy for is that I will see you one day in Heaven. Until we meet again Love ya Deuce (stepson)

I was honored to serve in the same investigative bureau with Charlie Williams, where we were both detective sergeants. Charlie was a man who could be gruff when he needed to be, but was personally a gentle giant of a man.
We were paired with our desks facing one another, so we had ample chances to talk, compare notes, and become friends.I am sorry he, like so many other fine officers Charlie and I served with, have passed along and left the rest of us at a loss for yet another friend. So long, Charlie.
We will always remember you and miss you more than ever.
