Charlotte Lucile Morris, 97 passed away February 16, 2015 at Bright Glade in Memphis, TN. She was born in Princeton, KY to James McGregor and Vera Hogan McGregor. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church; taught Sunday school at Holmes Road Methodist Church, visited nursing homes bringing the message of God’s Love and reading the Bible to the elderly. She loved the Jewish People and Israel. She was led by God to pray for peace in Israel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Troy K. Morris.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Warner; sons Samuel (Jean) Offult III, and James Archer (Carol) White Sr.; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday February 19, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Friday February 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN
