Christine Katherine Thomas

CHRISTINE KATHERINE THOMAS was born April 29, 1929 in Warsaw, IN and died peacefully at her home in Cordova, TN September 4, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints” Psalm 116:15. Christine was an active member of Bellevue Baptist Church and the “Truth Bible Study Class”. She leaves a loving husband of 54 years Phillip G. Thomas of Cordova, TN, a son Douglas S. Thomas of Oakland, TN, a son Paul A. Thomas of Bartlett, TN, a daughter Karen S. Thomas of Largo, FL .and four grandchildren. Christine also leaves a brother –in-law and sister-in-law John and Delores Thomas, and family of Cordova and the Memphis area, as well as precious extended family members in Camden and Maryville, TN. Christine retired, along with her husband, from Back to the Bible in 2002. They had served faithfully as Stewardship Representatives for the ministry travelling the Southeastern part of the United States. Services will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church Chapel on Appling Road and I-240, Saturday, September 12, 2015. Viewing is Saturday morning 9 A.M. -11 A.M. with the service immediately following. Interment will follow later at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, on North Germantown Rd. Family Funeral Care has charge of arrangements.
