I still think of you often. We were online buddies for so long...  Sometimes I login and see your name on my friends list, inactive for five years now, and it literally brings a tear to my eye.. Thank you for the memories and fun times. I miss you, man.

I never knew Chris in person, but we played World of Warcraft together forever. We literally played that game together for YEARS!! Always a good time whether it was Teamspeak or Ventrilo and as recently as Discord.  Our friendship was pretty much a construction site full of dark humor, ridiculous insults on all topics, and great in-game raiding during end game content. I just thought he took a break from the game and was living his best life. Unfortunately, I was informed of his passing. He will always be remembered as Bootsie, Cheesy Puff and Blazinblade on Firetree Horde server! FOR THE HORDE!!

This man was amazing man. He always had my back no matter what ! He always was my person to call on when life was too hard to handle. He lived life every single day to the fullest . His loyalty cannot be measured. He was the hardest working person I have ever met . And a heart of gold . 
I miss You more than words could ever explain. Keep smiling I know I’ll see you soon my love . 

Memories  of Bootsie are endless, my favorite memory was just hearing him call me "go momma".He was such a sweet guy and so genuine. He had a heart of pure gold. He loved cars and working out at the gym and loved his job. And most importantly the most forgiving young man I've ever met. He stayed by my side the whole time my mother, his grandmother was on her death bed at my house. He was the only one there with me long after every one had left in fact he held me so tight as they loaded her on the hurst. He said go momma she was so mean to me but I loved her so much. That's just how Christopher was, he would just put things behind him and move on. My eyes can't hold all the tears that flow over the loss of this young gentle soul and my heart will be missing a piece  but I know one day  we will meet again... Go momma will miss you Bootsie, fly as high as your can Bootsie😘



Christophers Momma never wanted to that to be his name, she said "everyone will call him Chris", and that is why we always called him Christopher. He acquired the name "Bootsie: before he was 1 year old, because everytime you tried to put Booties or socks on his feet he would rip them off. He liked to ride on my shoulders everywhere until the day I picked him up and did not notice the ceiling fan over my head. He was afraid of the roller coaster at "Kiddieland" (said it was " TOOOO SCARY" until I got him to ride it and then I couldn't get him off.  He had to survive the ordeal of having 2 older brothers which could be why he was so strong. He was an All Star running back in middle school, since he was twice as big as the kids who were trying to tackle him. He never got in trouble at school except for the time some insane student decided to take a punch at him. He graduated high school 1 semester early and had the choice of taking any college course he wanted( he chose "welding") He tried to follow my path and worked at four different companies that I worked for, but it was not for him. We went to Truck Driving school together,  him at 24 and me at 64 years old. He got his CDL a week before me since I failed my first test...…...There is a hole in my heart that no miracle of modern medicine will ever be able to heal. For all my remaining years a wave of sadness will come over me that I will not be able to predict or control. Christopher I pray that your soul is out there, so that someday we can meet again..... Christopher acquired the name "Bootsie" before the age of 1 year, because whenever you put Bootys or socks on his feet he would rip them off. Doobie wasn't just a friend but a brother and the best one I could've ever asked for. The memories we shared will never be forgotten. As I write this so many come to mind, late nights riding back roads and talking, a few to many drinks at dry creek, taking that old dodge Dakota pick up down walnut street at 80mph just to jump the bump at the 4 way, our love for our Hondas, and so many more. You were the easiest person to talk to and wise beyond your years. You had a heart bigger than your muscles and you showed it every where you went. We kept in touch almost every day even if it was just a "hey you ok today?" You will never truly know the impact you had on so many people lives. I would not be the person I am today had you not been in my life. And to his family and girlfriend, there is a family of friends, some you may not have ever met, that love yall and that are hurting also but we will stand strong with yall through this! My last words to you Doobie were "I will talk to you later dude" and I will keep to those words, later is just gonna be a little longer than we thought. I love you man. Time to soar!!!

Dueby was one of the greatest people I knew. He was so genuine. Back when we all partied he always made his famous “pink drink”. We sure have had some wild times! A lot of us grew apart but not Chris. He kept in touch with everyone. He was always there no questions asked and always had the best advice. He made sure you knew your worth. Every now and then I was able to meet him at the gym and he was always so encouraging!  The world is a darker place without him in it. Fly high big guy!

I will ever be wishing that I  had spent more time talking and visiting with Christopher 
It has been comforting to hear how many lives he touched in such a short time. My memories of him will always be from when he was a baby "Bootsie" having a fun time with his Brothers and as a fine young man excited to meet as many family members as possible .
He was truly a Gentle Giant always with a warm smile. Christopher, Give a big hug from me to Grandpa Richard and Cousin Ryan! 
 

Big Chris you’re gonna be missed deeply. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing you for three years  my friend so thank you. I remember when we first got hired and had to go to Atlanta for orientation he was like a big kid the whole trip. I had to asked myself  if He was  on world strongest man . His calf muscles was bigger then my arms lol . While working with him ,Me you and Alex had a bond to where we would checked up on each other everyday to see how our day was doing. Those days will always be remembered so I’m not gonna say goodbye my friend I’ll just say see u later . Spread your wings and Fly high Chris your on your way home . 

Bootsie had the best hugs, they were always filled with love. 
He cared for most everyone he met and never left a bad impression. 
First time I ever went to dry creek was with him in the back of a truck,  freezing by the time we got outta there for being soaked. First trip I took to Memphis was to meet some of his family and friends and go shopping and have Olive garden.
He always showed up ready to ride with snow cones in hand during the summer and sat with me multiple times on the porch in silence while I just vented and cried; then he would break out the triple P lol
He was an absolute wonderful man, and we will see him in Heaven at the end of our journey.

I only got to talk to Chris for maybe 2 hours of his time on earth. I probably met him when he was a child but I bet he was off playing with his cousins.
So when his Grandfather Rich Duebner passed away,  the family had a very small dinner for close family.  I was honored to be invited. Chris was sitting down the table from me so sometimes I was listening to what he and his brothers were talking about.  After dinner I went down that way to speak to all 3 of the guys.  They were so nice and respectful. I told them a little family history and they were appreciative.  Chris stood out to me because he reminded me so much of my dad who was a great great uncle and David Sr. Father Chris's great grandfather,  Eddie. Both those guys were funny. Full of tricks. Both men had the same physique as Chris and were strong. They could probably pick up a car. Chris and I became great friends on Facebook and I enjoyed whatever he had to say. Special wishes go out to his Grandmother Diana, his Dad David. Brothers Phillip and David and their families.  His Aunts Donna, Denise. Danielle, Dorothy and their families.  His Lady Kirsten.  All his friends and neighbors who have touched his life. Heaven gained an Angel.

Me and Boots would talk for hours on the phone, or sit on the porch and swing together laugh and cut up for it seemed like forever. We would go for rides, or he would come over late and watch movies with me while we ate McDonald's. He even talked to me when we would go weeks or months without talking. I could vent to him about anything and no matter what he was always straight forward about everything never beat around the bush and that's what I loved most about him. He was a wonderful guy and I will forever cherish our memories. ♡♡ 

Bootsy had the most infectious laugh. When we were in elementary school, my sister and I would come over and hang out with him and his brother Phillip. Throwing the football back & forth and walking threw the woods laughing. I don't think I've ever heard a bad thing said about him.  Bc he was an honest & genuine person. He will be greatly missed. I love you Bootsy

You was always so very nice, kind hearted ad sweet bootsy! 😢.... You was an amazing uncle to kenzie, you was a good brother to David... he has ALWAYS talked so highly of you every time your name would come up... never got to see you around phillip or benji but im sure you was to them as well!... Your dad and I had several conversations about You, David, Phillip, and his two grandkids...he was proud of all 3 of y'all about each of your own lives and what y'all had already overcome. Mr. Duebner, I TRULY am sorry for your loss!  No parent should EVER have to say goodbye to their baby! You are one of the most wise man I know.  😢😢 Chris you had a big caring  heart and soul... You was real from the start and from the talks we had you told it like it was but wasn't harsh and would try and offer the best advice you could...a TRUE genuine person!! I know we didn't get a chance to get to know each other more. 😢 My prayers are with your family, girlfriend, and friends.

From day one I considered you my brother! You were by all means my best friend, you changed my life and my families as well. Because of you I am a better man and father! I love you buddy and I promise you will never be forgotten! I don’t know of one single person that ever met you and had any negative thoughts toward you. Fly high in heaven brother! We will meet again one day! 

Chris was such a funny and upbeat person. He would come see us on the dock to say hello and spread some laughter after he returned from his haul. He used to sneak up behind me and pick me up like I was a kid. He was a very strong guy both physically and personally. He will be missed on this earth by many. If more people on this earth would have his attitude, the world would be a better place!! Prayers for strength for all of his family and friends. FLY HIGH BOOCHIE!! 

I love you like a brother the memories we have together go one and on the best one I have is the day I got married it rained all day and we about had to cancel it. When it finally stopped we where headed to get everything set up at the lake and not a word was said in your truck and you started blearing out singing "I can see clearly now the rain is gone".  You have touch so many lives and this has hit so many people I will always consider you my bother. 

Chris was a good friend, I use to watch sterling for him while he was on the road. And till this day I’ve never meet a more outgoing person. He truly set the standard of what a friend should be.  

So many memories  with you brother but the one that sticks out the most  is when I sold you your first turboed honda , The ole orange Eg coupe . Man you was so excited  and had so many questions. Couple days later we was having to pull the swap and everything  cause ya got on it and it got away from ya ,There are so many memories  we have shared.  Couple  months back we had breakfast  in Oklahoma  city  when we discovered that  we where stating at the same hotel . You will be missed  there is no doubt about it, You always had a smile on your face. A Gentle giant , you would give the shirt off your back to anyone that needed  it .   It was an honor  to call you a friend,  Fly High Brother!

I have so many memories of Chris, i can’t think of one bad one either. Chris was the best of the best. He gave me some of the best advice over the years, he taught me to be a better version of myself, to enjoy the moment and saved me more times than he ever knew. Chris was hands down the best friend anyone could ask for. He was truly one of a kind and I’m so honored that God let our paths cross and that I can say I knew him. He’s one of the most respectful, kind hearted and funniest people I’ve ever known. He was like family to my family, my dad and him used to drive me crazy when the two of them would get around each other. We lost a very  bright light in what can be a very dark world, that much I do know. They definitely don’t make them like Chris anymore. I just hope that heaven has the most amazing gym! So blessed for the years I was able to be a part of Chris’ life.  I know he will forever be missed by so many, including my family and myself. Fly high doobie.
