Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. He was born September, 19th, 1947 in Winston-Salem, NC to
Hope & Billie Rae Miller. He attended R.J. Reynolds High School and Camden Military Academy. Later Chris served with The 82nd Airborne in Vietnam where he received The Purple Heart, Three Silver Stars and The Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroic actions. Chris later became a multitalented musician playing in several regional bands. The Vee-Jays, Peg Leg and Cannonball where he was lead vocalist. Cannonball had several Beach Music Hits including “You Keep Telling Me Yes”. Chris would later travel the country playing in venues such as The Four Seasons in Las Vegas. Chris is survived by his children and granddaughter.
A Mass will be held at St. Michaels Anglican Church in Matthews, NC 28105. Special thanks to friends Bill & Kay Gordon and Brett Vinson. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in Christopher’s name to: Wounded Warrior Project or K9 for Warriors
