Cindy Lynn was born on March 14, 1970 at John Gaston hospital in Memphis Tennessee to Lois Madewell Rooker and Kenneth Darrell Rooker . She graduated from South Panola High School in 1988 and started her career as a waitress at Pizza Hut there in Batesville Mississippi. She soon left Pizza Hut to begin a career in respiratory care at South Panola Hospital where she got a taste of emergency care. She then furthered her career in EMS all over North Mississippi, Tennessee and Northern Arkansas until her health would no longer allow her to lift and pull on her patients. She then went on to dispatch for medical services all over Tennessee until she found a love for talking to different people who were hurting and needing something to eat and she found her way back to telephone operations at her local Pizza Hut Call Center. She loved to sing and play the piano with her daughter Kelci and she loved to shop makeup and clothes with her daughter Bethani. Vic was her husband, her best friend and her caretaker. Her favorite spot was sitting on her front porch with a glass of sweet tea prepared for her by her husband or her children and watching the traffic go by. Her journals, books and her Bibles were just a few of her favorite things to have close by her chair. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother Lois Rooker, her father Kenneth Rooker (Barbara), her husband Victor Roach, her daughters Bethani (Jake) Culver and Kelci Culver. Sister Deborah Hughes (Leslie), her brothers Kevin Rooker (Tiffany), Chris Ellis (Angela), Kenneth Rooker,Jr. (Samantha) a very special friend Pat Tatum along with a host of nieces and nephews and cousins that loved Cindy.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents RB and Elizabeth Hardzog and paternal grandparents Oscar and Eloise Rooker, multiple aunts and uncles as well as her baby brother Kenny Shawn Rooker Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Rooker, Jr., Kevin Rooker, Leslie Hughes, Stoney Burns.
Services will be officiated by David Berryman in Memphis, TN and Pastor Coma Rivers in Omaha, AR
A visitation for Cindy will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A committal service will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at New Hope Cemetery, 7071 Hwy 14 N, Omaha, AR 72662.
