Claude E “Buddy” Dunstan, 70, passed away on May 23 at the VA Medical Center Memphis. A graduate of Christian Brothers High School and Memphis State University, Buddy proudly served his country as a captain in the Navy in Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, among other honors. Buddy was a commercial real estate broker with Colliers International for 40+ years. Buddy was very active in his community, as both a past-president of the Memphis Jaycees and moderator of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation support group. Buddy leaves his wife of 46 years, Charle Clark Dunstan, one daughter Missy Dunstan Ashe (Ken), and two granddaughters, Dunstan and Kailee Ryan Ashe. You are invited to a catered gathering for all family and friends on Tuesday, May 26 from four o’clock to six o’clock in the evening with a memorial service to follow at six o’clock all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave.
