Clifford Young Davis, Jr., 81, a lifelong Memphian, died on September 12, 2014 in Collierville, TN. A banking consultant by trade, Mr. Davis was a Captain of the United States Air Force, Episcopalian by faith, and a man who loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed his family life. Graveside services will be held at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Monday, September 22 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mrs. June Davis; daughter, Melissa of Collierville; son, Cliff Y. Davis, III (Nancy) of Memphis; brother, W. W. “Bubba” Davis (Carolyn) of Memphis; sister-in-law, Margaret Grover of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Drew and Lexie; Grace and Chip Davis.
