Sending my condolences to his family and friends. Cortez (Big Smooth) was one smooth, cool brother, and one of the biggest 49ers fan I know. I know he was well loved by many and he will be missed. To his wife, my friend Glenda, I know he loved you so much and you love him the same. Keep the memories alive and lean on God for strength and understanding, and family/friends for support. This Guy had a very warm personality. I could only strive to be as kind as Cortez. He will be missed immensely.

It was great knowing you on the OST team! When we had assignments together I was new to the team and i always appreciated that you were super cool right away and helpful. RIP man.

My condolences to you and your family. Me and Cortez worked together on many assignments while being on OST team and there was a time when we were on assignments in Orlando,FL and we road to Dayton Beach together and during that time i really got to know him and the man he was and i know he will truly be missed.

Glenda & Family,  I am so very sad for you in this tremendous loss of Cortez.  He was a joy to work with - kind, helpful, ready to assist in anything, funny, and insightful.  He will be greatly missed by all of us.
