This was our first date. I’ve waited a long time to write anything. It has been so hard moving on without you here. I can still hear you singing to me and giving me such profound words of wisdom. You were so much older than your age. I think of and miss you every day. You had such a great big heart and you never judged or said anything bad about anyone. You just wanted to help everyone. I know people who worked with you or who knew you loved you. I knew you on so many different levels. You were my friend who ended up being my best friend and then boyfriend. I was crazy sometimes and I’m sorry but I loved and still love you so much. 

I know your still with me because I feel you every day and when I’m working and zoned out, I hear you singing to me like you always did. You stole my heart but I’d give it too you a million more times. 

I look forward to the day we can be together again. You will always be my love!

I worked with Dvaughn in Afghanistan. He was a super good guy. We had lots of fun times over there. So sorry to hear that he had passed away.


I am so very sad to find an obituary for D'Vaughn. We met while he was doing resets in Jackson. We kept up with each other for a long time but I hadn't spoken to him lately. I've been sending him messages since his birthday, no response. There was never a time that I contacted him that he didn't answer. I thought last night I'd just do a search of his name and this is what I find. I am so heartbroken to learn that he is no longer with us. He was a special person. So very kind and caring. I will forever miss my friend. Love and Prayers to D'Vaughn's family and the friends who loved him. 

One of the coolest guys I met while working with the company. Always made sure to say “what’s up Dee” and we always carried on our own conversation.  He made wok easier by just being a great friend.  Nothing but good memories 

My deepest sympathies go out to your family. Dvaughn was taken way too soon! It seems that often Happens to the good souls. He will be profoundly missed as at work!! He was one of my favorite people here; sweet, funny, and I loved to hear him singing. My heart breaks for you all.

Really enjoyed working with him. He always had such a positive attitude and professionalism. 
No words can help with the pain, but I pray the Lord takes you in his loving arms, and gives you strength and peace.
