

Darlene Faye Breuer Fann, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend died Thursday, January 1st. She is survived by her four children: daughters Judy Boggs of Cordova, TN; Jane Damphousse (husband) Raymond ‘Buddy’ of Eastham, MA; and sons Randy Fann (wife) Julie of Fort Mill, SC; and Kendell Fann of Memphis TN; seven grandchildren: Kellye McClure of Cordova, TN; Heather Ellis (husband) Brent of Kernersville, NC; Jay Damphousse (wife) Sarah of Orlando, FL; Brad Damphousse (wife) Shanda of San Diego, CA; Christopher Daily of Charlotte, NC; Rosalind Gaskins of Pooler, GA; and Aaron Gaskins of Fort Mill, SC; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Beulah Breuer, and her only sibling, brother Kay Breuer, all of Waverly, KS, Widow of Loren V. Fann, and longtime friend Ralph Cox. Mrs. Fann was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Memphis for several decades. She had a very successful career as a Manager for Tupperware, and later worked in the insurance industry, and then in retail jewelry sales. Darlene absolutely cherished her family, which was her passion. She loved hosting family and friends in her home, and made everyone feel welcome and special. Visitation will be Monday evening, January 5th, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 6th, at St. Matthews United Methodist Church at 1362 Prescott Avenue in Memphis, TN 38111. The family wishes to give special thanks to Debbie Wilson, Teressa Webb, and the wonderful staff at Baptist Trinity Hospice.
