Raymond David (Dave) Moreau passed away June 28, 2018. Dave was born on April 28th, 1936 to Ray & Margaret Moreau of Malden, Missouri. Growing up in Southeast Missouri, Dave graduated from St. Louis University, where he met his beloved wife of 60 years, Lucy O’Leary Moreau. Settling in Memphis, Dave and Lucy raised a family of 4 children, and Dave enjoyed a long and successful career in the insurance industry. He was very active in his church and community, serving for many years as a lector at St. Louis Church, and volunteering for many years on The American Red Cross of Mid-South board, as well as Memphis SCORE. Dave is survived by his wife Lucy, sister Mary Ellen Moreau Capdevielle, sons Michael, Steven and Paul, daughter Laura (Jed) Meeks, as well as grandchildren Connor and Hannah Meeks, Matthew and Katelyn Moreau. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10 from 5:30PM-7:30PM with a memorial service starting 7:30PM at Memphis Funeral Home, at 5599 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. The family would like to thank Methodist Hospice and the Genesis Foundation for their compassionate and caring services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to The American Red Cross of Mid-South or the charity of your choice.
