Lucy, we are unable to attend tonight but Pete and I both wanted to say what a very fine man Dave was and so special to us in so many ways. Pete loved playing poker with that group of guys and I will always cherish memories of time spent together over so many years of friendship. We hope that memories of good times together will help to sustain you all during this very sad time and you all remain in our thoughts and prayers. May the days ahead give you strength and may G-d bless you all. Love, Judy McCown and Pete Lemmon

Lucy, our condolences to you and your family. Dave was a great person and was always putting others needs before his. I remember when I arrived in Memphis in 1985 Dave was present to assist me and my family in being made comfortable in Memphis.
We enjoyed getting to know your family and playing bridge together. Fond memories that will be cherished forever! God Bless you and your family!

Lucy Moreau and family: Although visiting with Uncle Dave was something we only were able to do every couple years, every single time with him I was amazed at his sincere interest in me, in our family, and in our lives.

He was passionate, compassionate, fun, funny, quick to grab a dinner tab and one of the best guys I've had the pleasure of knowing.

I feel fortunate to consider him a friend, blessed to call him an uncle, and so sorry this brilliantly alive man is no longer part of our physical lives. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you and are thinking of you. John O'Leary and family.
