He worked at Memphis Street Railway where he met the love of his life, Sue.
They married and had 2 children. David spent 14 years working for Colonial Baking Company. His love for art and antiques turned a hobby into a very successful business.
He purchased a Victorian house for his shop, Masterpiece Galleries - the first on Central Avenue, where he honed his skills as a master refinisher and restorer and began importing antiques from the UK.
He was a self-made man, always studying and learning more ways to perfect his craft.
He loved reading and studying the Bible and teaching Sunday School. One of our last conversations ended with him saying, "I'll see you in heaven." And we will!!!
