To his children and grandchildren he was known as Gramps, to his beloved patients he was Dr. Weaver and to his friends he was known as David.
Known for his contagious laugh and unwavering determination, he brought both skill and heart to his profession and his family. Though proudly stubborn, he had a soft spot for the joy of holidays spent with loved ones, always surrounded by laughter, the warmth of togetherness and a tasty dessert!
He was a long time dentist who served his community with care and dedication for many years.
His patients still sing his praises, to this day, after being retired for over thirty years!
After he retired from dentistry, he stood by his brides side traveling by way of his treasured minivan. They adventured all over selling antique jewelry and nicknacks! Lynda always made sure they were matching in the color of the day! He had a passion for collecting unique trinkets, each with its own story, much like the life he lived—colorful, meaningful, and full of character.
He is proceeded in death by his wife Lynda Weaver.
He is survived by his three sons, Stueart Hudsmith (Pam), Scotte Hudsmith (Nikki), William Weaver (Ashley) his 11 grandchildren, Ashley Abby (Frank), Brooke Hudsmith, Caroline Fly (Hunter), Denver Hudsmith, Emilee McKinney (Ryan), Foster Hudsmith (Bridgett), Hunter Hudsmith (Lindsey), Keenan Hudsmith, Tucker Hudsmith, Willah Weaver, Sophie Weaver, his 6 great grandchildren, Franklin Abby, John Abby, Henry Abby, Shepherd Fly, Brooks Fly, Effie Hudsmith, along with many lifelong friends.
