Deborah Kaye Lewis, 51, lifelong Memphian, died July 5, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital here in Memphis. She was a lifetime member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church who later transferred to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She battled M.S. & cancer for years but did so without a complaint and a smile on her face. People and animals were drawn to her for this reason. The Lewis family will receive guests and friends on Friday, June 6th from 5PM – 8PM and funeral services will begin at 11AM on Saturday, June 7th all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens located at 5599 Poplar Avenue. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband of 28 years Timothy C. Lewis; her mother-in-law, sister & 2 brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & Great-nephews who all loved her dearly.
