Deborah Nahinu, a remarkable soul, was born on December 5, 1959, in Pacifica, California, United States. A long time resident of Memphis, Tennessee With a heavy heart, we announce her tragic passing on August 21, 2023.
Deborah was a loving mother to her four children, Heather Sanchez, Deanna Calvillo, Tina Boyd (deceased), and Jayden Draffin. She was a wife to Artemio Lopez since 2008 . They were married the 15 years of her life. Her devotion and unconditional love knew no bounds as she tirelessly cared for her children and nurtured them into the wonderful individuals they are today.
Above all, Deborah cherished her role as a grandmother. She was blessed with 22 beautiful grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her love for them was immeasurable, and countless memories were created through her warm and loving presence.
Deborah's pursuit of knowledge led her to Pacifica High School, where she graduated in 1977. Her thirst for learning never wavered, and she continued to embrace new experiences, broadening her horizons with each passing day.
As a Stay at Home Mother, Deborah dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family. Her selflessness shone brightly as she embraced the challenges and joys of nurturing her children. She instilled in them the values of compassion, resilience, and determination, remembered as a force of nature, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Her tenacity, love, and kindness will continue to shine through the lives she touched, forever immortalizing her spirit in our hearts. She took pride in teaching each of them the valuable life lessons and inspiring them to dream big.
Today, as we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, let us also celebrate her journey and honor the legacy she leaves behind. Deborah's immeasurable impact will continue to reverberate for generations to come, inspiring others to live life boldly, love deeply, and pursue their dreams fearlessly, just as she did.
Deborah's visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a
memorial service following for her, Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.
