Our Vegas meets were the stuff of Legend! Great fun , as you may gather from the pic! We were two of a kind- absolute clowns! Vegas became an annual event , and we were on skype to each other all the
time.

I first had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and Dennis as we boarded a plane bound for Shannon, Ireland. They were embarking on their first trip to Ireland, and we were returning home from Las Vegas. They too , had experienced Vegas , so we had plenty to talk about! They happened to be seated directly behind us , so we got to know more about each other on the flight home. We met again  , by arrangement, and had dinner with them on the night before they returned home.
Thus began the best buddy relationship I have ever had, or ever will.


The day , and place, we first met. Also the start of one of the best buddy relationships I've ever had, or ever will.

You would always know it was my uncle Dennis when all of a sudden you had to hang onto something to try and stay afloat while most of the water was thrown out of the swimming pool, as he loved doing body bombs off of the diving board in the summertime.

Back in high school he was remembered by his big fluffy blonde hair while making everyone laugh as he looked a lot like Dennis The Menace, and he lived up to the name as he was often reckless with putting the pedal to the metal! 

You would always know its him as you could hear the engine revving in the distance. He was always on the go and in high school he once got suspended for taking an out-of-school restaurant break between classes, because he had better places to be. 

He had this one cat named PurrBob, who would sit on his lap every morning. And by cat standards, you have to rank pretty high to have a cat choose to sit on your lap. 

I have always laughed a lot when Dennis was around and he always had everyone smiling as he was such a character. He had really good wit and had a charm that was unlike no other. Looking back at what he has accomplished in his life and I can wholeheartedly say that by far he was a unique genius. 

He was so good at the mechanics of things, it was amazing to see how he recreated a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner classic car from scratch, and it's still in perfect condition.

Dennis was unlike anyone you have ever met. Not only was he filled with good humor, he was driven in life, he started working hard at very young age and had a strong worth ethic, he once said that it wasn’t until he started his own business that he then truly felt like he had found his purpose and passion in life.

Dennis was was nothing but extraordinary. I always think of Dennis as he was highly talented and charismatic, he had a great deal of passion and drive in life and he will be greatly missed. He was the epidbme of easy-going and we all need to strive to be as cool as that.


I love you Dennis you are the sweetest baby brother anyone could have on this earth. You are greatly missed. I remember all the years together as brother and sister they are precious memories. You are in heaven. I am so sorry you suffered so much. Now you are with the Lord and get to be with Dennis Jr and Mom & Dad and the rest of our family.

Our hearts are broken and will never be the same.  All we have are our memories of our laughter, trips, visits, phone calls, pool time and just being together as besties do.  A part of mine and Scotts heart is empty and will never be able to be filled.  Don’t worry about “your bride” as you called her.  We will always be there for her. Lisa, it’s hard  to think about Dennis being gone way too soon. He was a good man and my dad (Jim Davis) always thought the world of him as so many others. What a terrible loss.  Nifty was of the truly good guys. He will be missed forever. I have grief in my soul & tears in my heart for you Lisa. I hope he has found Tom somewhere on the other side & they are having a sip together & waiting for us to join them. 

We realize how brutal life is when the people who bring us the best memories in life become memories themselves. Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there’s a memory; they live on in our hearts.
