Derrick was the life of the party and depending on how you knew him, he was affectionately known as "Big Slim", "Suga Slim", or "Derry White". He was truly a ladies' man who could work the crowd. Derrick retired from the Tennessee Department of Corrections with 20 years of service and was a member of Omega Psi Phi, Incorporated.
