

Dickey Glenn Brown, 55, of Eads (Memphis) was granted his angel wings on Saturday, December, 3, 2011. Born in Little Rock, AR, on August, 23, 1956, Dickey moved with his family to the Memphis area in 1964. After graduation from Woodale High School in 1975, Mr. Brown went on to attend Trevecca Nazarene University. While working for Brown Trucking, Inc.; Mr. Brown helped to start Cordova Concrete, Inc. where he has served as President since the beginning of this family owned business. Dickey was an active member of the Grace Church of the Nazarene, Memphis Homebuilder’s Association, Served on the Board of the Renasant Bank….An avid golfer, Dickey participated in many charitable golf tournaments, but mostly like to compete with his brother .Dickey is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Denise Earhart Brown of Eads; 2 children, Kari Brown and significant other JD Coulter of Oakland, TN, and Chad Brown of Collierville, TN; 2 step daughters and their spouses Natasha & Daniel Rose and Matthew & Kasie Rector of Bethel, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Claudia, Olivia, Justin, Shelby, Carter and Griffin; his mother, Patricia Ann Brown of Collierville, TN, his sister, Judy French of Nesbit, MS; his twin brother, Rickey Brown of Memphis , and many beloved friends. Mr. Brown is predeceased by his father, Howard Henry (Bill) Brown, June 18, 1988, formally of Germantown, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. We will always carry his memory in our hearts forever and his favorite saying “Life is Good!” Visitation and service will be Wednesday, December 7th at Grace Church of the Nazarene.
