Dolores Lannert Quigley, 84, returned to her heavenly home on March 18, 2018 after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Dolores was blessed with a loving family and many lifelong friends. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator. She was a devout member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and volunteered for 32 years at St. Francis Hospital on Park Avenue.
Dolores is survived by her children Patti Zern (Doug), Mike Quigley (Paulette) and Kevin Quigley (Tracy), her grandchildren Jennifer McClellan (Mac), Brian Zern, Jason Zern (Mandi), Shane Welch, Devin Quigley, Morgan Rosas, Chandler Rosas and five great grandchildren. She also leaves longtime companion, Charles Arnold. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Doc” Quigley, her parents, Ralph and Ann Lannert, and her twin sister, Shirley Becht.
Visitation for Dolores will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm with services being held immediately following the visitation. The burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Holy Rosary Catholic Church and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are greatly appreciated.
