I just learned of Dr. Eastmead's passing this morning. My son always seems to carry the world on his shoulders, always worrying. Whenever we would leave Dr. Eastmead's office my son would leave with the biggest smile on his face. Life was not so hard afterall. Dr. Eastmead will truly be missed. He was a great human being.

I just learned of Dr. Eastmead's passing this morning. I recommended a friend to him and the office told my friend. I have never met a more compassionate person. Not just to his patients but to the parents. He always sited real life situations to parents and the children he met. I thank God for sending such an angel to people that needed his kind of care. I will try to be more compassionate in my day to day dealings with people. I think that is a lovely way to be remembered. Thank you Dr. Eastmead.

I just learned of Don's passing yesterday. My deepest condolences to his family. He was such an incredibly kind, compassionate, brilliant and thoughtful man. He spoke often of Drew and was justly very proud of him. He was also proud of his sister's strength in being a care giver for
their sister. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

Dr. Eastmead made a profound difference in the life of my son William, who was his patient, and our entire family as well. He was a great man who cared deeply about my son, and always seemed to understand him better than any other medical professional. Dr. Eastmead enjoyed discussing things such as Star Wars trivia, the possibility of worm holes, the Higgs Boson particle, or the greatness of Legos with my son. Whenever we had a problem, I could always count on Dr. Eastmead to call back immediately, even after hours, to help. He will be greatly missed by us, and my deepest condolences go to his family. Dr. Eastmead was a brilliant, interesting, funny man and also one of the greatest physicians I have ever known. I am honored to have known him.

Dr. Eastmead was a joy to be around. He had a great sense of humour ,and my son and I never left his office without a smile on our face., in fact, he is my son's favorite Doctor. He always made you feel comfortable and relevant. We've been going to see Dr. Eastmede for about 5 years, and our hearts are broken. The world is just a bit more darker for the lack of his joyful, positive presence. His passing is all of our loss. May GOD Bless and comfort his family,(pets included.) He will certainly be missed.

I had known Don since my internship at his office 20 years ago. Since that time we had kept in touch due to our mutual patients. He was always the kindest and most caring person. I am so sorry for all his family and friends, but especially his patients. He is irreplaceable. Dr. Mary Wanat

Thank you all for writing such wonderfully nice notes about my dad. It is so heartwarming to know that he touched many lives, helped patients along their way, and had many loved ones and friends, from Germany to Memphis and everywhere in between. These comments really made my day. Thank you all...
