I will always remember Don with great fondness.  He cared for my sister Christine with love, patience and selfless optimism, the perfect husband for her. 
Don was a gentle soul, soft spoken and unassuming.  My sister loved him with all her heart.  For that and many other things, I am incredibly thankful to my brother-in-law.  He was just what Christine needed as the two lives joined in something special and endearing.
A man of decency, integrity and humility like Don  is a rare find. 
Joseph and Mary: we grieve with you at the loss of your dear father.  Monica,  Mary and Dennis: we offer prayers and our sympathy at the loss of your brother.  Rita: we pray for you at the loss of your step son.  Nathaniel, Keara, Jonah, Olivia and Bennett: know that your grandpa is with Grandma Christine and Uncle Andy in God's loving arms. 
To all family members we offer our deepest condolences and promise that you are in our prayers.

Pa and Ma Mahoney were perfection. They embodied everything I didn’t have as a family when I was high school and welcomed me into their home and embraced me in their hearts.  Mr. Mahoney was encouraging and understanding writing letters even after Ms. Mahoney passed.  
What a great photo and smile. Cried when I saw it; yet joy-filled with memories. Thinking of you Mary and Joe and wishing I could be there this week. Will offer mass from abroad.

To Arlene, and to Don's Extended Family,

This is Ron Childress wishing comfort for and blessings upon all of you.  I learned of Don's passing this morning while watching  the 08:00 AM Mass.

I shall do my best to attend the 06:00 PM Rosary Monday evening.  While I am limited in driving during my recovery from rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder, I still "get around" (sorta).  This is important.
